Interviewing an inventor

Today my class was tasked to interview an inventor like Thomas Andrew who is the person I chose.

Who would you interview if you had the chance?

Hello my name is Tane and today I am going to be interviewing Thomas Andrews the

creator of the mighty Titanic.

1.Who originally planned the creation of the Titanic and I know it might

be you but just explain to me what the original idea was?

2.What made you create the Titanic and was it always supposed to be so big or did you just plan it too far ahead and

that's when you were going to name it the Titanic?

3.When did the original idea come into

existence or mind because I just can't see myself wanting to

create a giant boat which would later just sink but I understand you didn't know this but still?

4.Where did the Titanic first start to get built and where was

it finished or did it just always stay in the same place?

5.How did I afford to build this massive boat and

how was it able to be built in under a year which shocks me to be honest?

6.Why did you want to build such a big boat with only

14 000 men and why did you ever create this boat like you should've known that it was destined to sink?

7. So were you on the boat when it sank to an iceberg?

8.Did anyone survive the shipwreck and was able to escape?

9. How old were you when you first started to build the Titanic and how old were you when it sank?

10.Did you ever have any other plans in mind like making or creating another invention?

  1. Ka pai Tane. I am super impressed with your critical thinking in this task. You have come up with very interesting questions that show your knowledge of the Titanic. So was he on the Titanic? Did he survive? Did he create anything else if he survived? Mrs Hastie
