3 inventions

To me my three favourite inventions are water fountains, washing machines and dishwashers.

1. Water fountains are good because they help thirst dehydration. An early example of a fountain, found in Mesopotamia, dates from around 3000 BC. It consisted of a series of basins which made use of a natural spring. Mechanically operated fountains became familiar during the 15th century in Italy. But now today we find them everywhere in places like parks, schools and even in public places like shopping malls.

2. The first washing machine was made in 1797 and in 1851 it was updated into a manually operated machine. The earliest machine was in fact, less of a machine and more of a scrub board. I believe it’s useful for keeping clothes clean so you smell good. 

3. The first dishwasher was made in 1850 by a woman named Joel Houghton. I like the dishwasher so I have more time instead of doing dishes.
